The Pearl Fishers (Les Pêcheurs de Perles)

A thrilling tale of friendship tested by love, set on an exotic isle in an eastern sea, Bizet’s early masterpiece is a gem of 19th-century French opera, full of fabulous tunes, colourful orchestration and evocative choruses. The opera offers audiences a rare chance to discover what a pearl of a piece Bizet’s opera can be.

As part of Andrews work as moment director he choreographed the overture that features 3 Aerialist (divers) swimming down to fish for pearls.

"...A breathtaking opening sequence of pearl divers in the watery depths."
